Washing your clothes is responsible for more then a third of the impact a garment has on the environment. This is why we recommend washing your clothes as little as possible. This is not only good for the environment but also for your loved garment as it will stay beautiful for longer.
We recommend separating the layers of the two-layered jackets for washing and only wash the layer that really needs it.
Wash with 30°C for an eco-friendly and garment friendly laundry practice.
Because our clothes are made out of preloved garments they most likely have a small or even big percentage of polyester or nylon. As we know today this is polluting the oceans and our own water systems with microplastics. This is why we either use a Guppy Bag for smaller amounts or a Cora Ball.
If your problem is stains, we recommend trying to get rid of the stain first before putting the whole garment into the machine. Separating layers is the best option again.
ZERO WASTE STAIN REMOVAL:
Is your piece ripped, broken, the zip is not working, or something similar?
We recommend either trying to fix it yourself a benefit of this is that you personalise your piece even more. If you don't feel comfortable doing this or you don't have the skills or instruments we encourage you to go to your local repair shop. Repair shops are a vital part of our community and a livelihood for many. If none of this works then please don't hesitate to get in contact with us. Email
